WHITWELL'S finest young talent are treading the boards again with a double feature sure to entertain.
The Junior Players are a relatively new group of eight to 15-year-olds keen to make an impression in the area.

The first of the two short plays is In The Mood, by Mike Newbold, a tale of evacuees during the war years.

And the second, also by Mr Newbold, is a fantasy adventure about children who supposedly look after the rainbows.

“Please come along support these young ones,” said Players spokesman Janet Astle. “For many of them, these are their first productions, so you might well catch a glimpse of some of the stars of tomorrow.”

It all takes place at Whitwell Community Centre tonight and tomorrow, curtain at 7pm.

Tickets, priced £3.50, are available from the Centre office, on the door or by calling 01909 723490.
