GOT a dad who's mad about cars? Make his Father's Day this year with a trip to the National Kit Car Festival.
The 27th exhibition of kit cars will see replicas of dream cars like a Lotus and Ferrari come to Newark on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June.

Give your dad a Father’s Day to remember with a trip around the exhibition and the chance to talk to people in the kit-car-know.

Anyone with their own kit car can go along to the festival and they will receive a free commemorative plaque and sticker.

New for 2009, there will be a display featuring cars from past that are no longer in production to celebrate kit car heritage.

Some of the replica dream cars on offer will be from AK Sportscars – who will have a Cobra replica on display.

Also BlitzWorld design, offer road buggies and 4x4 vehicles for self assembly, or as factory built options.

Day tickets to the festival are £10 for adults and £3 for children (aged five –15) and toddlers go free.

Parking and camping are free on Friday and Saturday. The show is open to the public on Saturday at 10am - 5pm and Sunday from 9.30am - 4.30pm.
