Town win league opener, Maltby defeated

THERE were mixed fortunes for Dinnington Town and Maltby Main, on the opening day of the NCEL Premier season.

Town hosted local rivals Hallam FC and triumphed 2-1.

But Main were beaten by the same scoreline away at Selby Town.
