Town taken to task

DINNINGTON were taken to task on Tuesday night, away at Scarborough Athletic.

Ryan Blott opened the scoring six minutes before half-time, and as the first period came to an end Nathan Hotte doubled the hosts' lead.

Blott got his second and Scarborough's third on 77 minutes from the penalty spot, and Scott Phillips completed the rout with three minutes remaining.

The result leaves Dinnington 11th in the NCEL Premier table.

On Saturday they host Brighouse Town at Phoenix Park at 3pm, and Thackley are the visitors on Tuesday night for a 7.45pm kick-off.
