THE Worksop Harriers battled through the snowy conditions at the Midland Counties Cross Country Championships at Stafford Common.

Intrepid local runners finished as follows:

Under 13 boys: Aidan Needham: 44th, 12:47, Nathan Langley: 60th, 13:16, Josh Charters: 98th, 17:19.

Under 13 girls: Lucy Harrop: 43rd, 13:18.

Under 15 boys: James Lonsdale: 36th, 17:36, George Earle: 60th, 18:53, Thomas Carrott: 91st, 24:44.

Under 15 girls: Bethan Dennis: 77th, 26:35.

Ladies: Joelle Summers: 124th, 37:28.

Men: Paul Dickinson: 184th, 46:11, Robert Roper: 214th, 47:58, David Havenhand: 249th, 51:02.
