STEVE Adams says his Maltby summer signings are all set to begin the 2008/09 NCEL Premier Division season tomorrow.
Maltby rounded off their pre-season preparations with a 3-2 loss to the Sheffield Wednesday academy side at Muglet Lane on Wednesday night.

The Main goals came from a Rob Brannigan penalty and a Justin Westerby strike.

Adams told the Guardian his squad was in good shape for tomorrow's visit to Long Eaton United.

He said: "We're more or less set for tomorrow. I've kept five or six players from last year's team."

"I've brought in the Wragg twins, Matt and Jon, from Dinnington Town, Rob Brannigan, who scored last night, and John Beggs from Stocksbridge, among others."

Adams was appointed Main manager in the summer after Robbie Barron stepped down as first team boss to concentrate on his role as development officer at the club.

Main's August fixtures

9th v Long Eaton United away 3pm

13th v Nostell MW home 7.45pm

16th v Bottesford Town home 3pm

23rd Eccleshill United away 3pm

25th v Brodsworth Welfare home 3pm
