h 122 added before the first wicket fell, Scott Jones departing for 60.
Carl Tiler smashed a quick fire 50 as 111 was added for the second wicket. Their unlikely hero proved to be Dave Furniss, who notched an impressive 131.
A flurry of wickets ensued, but in a gripping climax Aston came home with a ball to spare and four wickets remaining.
Division Two
Maltby 110
Coal Aston 111 for 1MALTBY were easily beaten at Muglet Lane.
Maltby were asked to bat first and Guy Dickinson carried his bat through the innings for 54 not out.
Maltby could only muster 110 all out. James Furniss took 3 for 43.
Although Coal Aston lost an early wicket, Andrew Lockwood (46 not out) steered them to victory.
Division Three

Thorpe Hesley 101THORPE Hesley collapsed against some good bowling from Aston Hall B at Green Lane.
Andrew Barnes led the Aston bowling with 4 for 20.
In their reply, opener Jack Barton struck 41 as Aston passed the Hesley score with four wickets down and 29 overs gone.
Division Four
Worsbrough B 115
Maltby B 116 for 6AT Park Road, Worsbrough B compiled 115 all out against Maltby B.
Leading scorer was Lee Matthews with 33 and Ashley Ramsey took 4 for 13 for Maltby.
Maltby's second wicket between Anthony Ward (35) and Harry Graham (31 not out) took them within sight of victory, but a flurry of wickets followed Ward's departure and six wickets had fallen when the winning hit came.
