DINNINGTON travelled to Hoyland with only 10 players due to holidays and illness and were unlucky not to come away with a point.

Dinnington took control early on with Laura Hopkinson, Shannon Seymour and Melissa Burgin bossing the game.

Howeve
r, Hoyland took the lead with their first real chance following a goal-mouth scramble.

The rest of the half was very even with neither side creating much in the final third

As the second half began Hoyland started to make their greater numbers count and, despite a fantastic effort by the Dinnington players, they were unable to prevent a stunning goal by Hoyland following a length of the pitch move.

Dinnington were then reduced to only nine players when Eve Kelly picked up a knee injury.

Hoyland then struck a decisive third to put the match beyond doubt and 3-0 was how it finished.

THE goalscorer was Archie Elliot.

BRAD Hughes got Town's goal.

Under 10s

Dinnington Town 2

Hillsborough Pumas 5

AN own goal and a Rowan Hill strike weren't enough for Dinnington.

Under 12s

TINASHE Mudadi-Billings scored two and James Egerton was man of the match.

Under 13s

Beighton 1

Dinnington Town 2

JAMIE Hindley and Brad Parker scored.

Dinnington Town 7

Hackenthorpe Juniors 3

ADAM Hale scored two, Tom Williams netted and Brad Parker grabbed four in this win.
