A MAN who was stopped by police in a car which contained cannabis and M-Cat must stay out of trouble for a year.

Adam Moore, 21, was a passenger in the car which was pulled over in Cheapside on 25th May last year.

Moore, of Lanchester Gardens, Worksop admitted drug possession.

Prosecutor Ruth Snowdin said officers found drugs in a plastic box under the front seat.

The driver of the car was also arrested and charged.

Moore told police he smoked cannabis but knew nothing about the M-Cat.

Defence solicitor Andrew Osbourne said Moore has cut down his cannabis use and is now on a training course.

Worksop magistrates gave Moore a 12 month conditional discharge.
