Teenager arrested after altercation in Worksop

Police have arrested a teenager following reports of an altercation in Worksop.

A 24-year-old man was injured in the incident, which happened in Netherton Road, Manton, at around 9.45pm on Saturday.

The victim, named locally as Liam Marriott, was taken to King’s Mill Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

The arrested 17-year-old boy was bailed pending further enquiries.
