Teen’s fake gun charge

A CRESWELL teenager has been charged with possessing an imitation firearm in public.
Jack Green is accused of possessing a black replica handgun in Rogers Avenue, Creswell, on 15th December 2012.
Green, 19, of Welbeck Street, Creswell, was due to appear before magistrates at Chesterfield on Monday.
His case was adjourned after the court heard he was a serving prisoner at Glen Parva young offenders institution in Leicester.
He will be brought before the justices in custody on 29th January.
A similar charge brought against Steven Russon, 25, of Rogers Avenue, Creswell, was withdrawn.
