Surveyors set sights high

SHERWOOD Property Surveyors have their sights set high for 2012.
The independent building surveying, project management and property consultancy only started in late 2010, but has already completed a major project in London.
“I come from a business background, helping new businesses to get set up and have always wanted to work for myself,” said owner Alison Watson.
When the opportunity arose to bid to project manage the refurbishment of a Grade II listed building in Covent Garden for clothing company Patagonia, Alison jumped at the chance.
“We are very proud that as a new company we were able to complete a project they were happy with,” she said.
“As it was their flagship store it was very important for them to get it right. We worked with them right from the start.”
But as well as handling large, high profile projects, Alison is keen to offer her services to local Worksop businesses and residents.
“We want to establish ourselves as surveyors for local home owners, landlords and businesses,” she added.
“We want to help local businesses in Worksop and the surrounding areas.”
“We want to grow and to help other local businesses grow at the same time.”
