Scrap theft tag curfew

A TEARAWAY teen has been put on an electronic tag after being given ‘one last chance’ by the courts.

Liam Bradford, 19, of Kenilworth Close, Worksop, admitted a charge of theft by finding at Worksop Magistrates’ Court.

The court heard how Bradford worked as a scrap metal collector and had taken a load of copper and sink piping which he found on the front of a property in October 2012.

He admitted finding the metal, but denied knowing it had been removed during an earlier burglary.

Magistrates imposed a three month community order with a tagged curfew to stay at his mother’s house in Clinton Street from 7pm to 7am each day.
