FOUR Rotherham police officers and a university lecturer have teamed up to raise £650 for Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
Inspector Nigel Taaffe, Inspector Nick Gaskell, PC Peter Hague, PC Helen Cutmore and Sheffield Hallam University lecturer Charlotte Coleman took part in the Rowbotham’s Round Rotherham International Trail in October.
They completed the gruelling 50-mile run, which starts and finishes at Dearne Valley College.
An extra £50 has been collected since, bringing the total raised to £650.
Some of the fundraisers handed the money over to the hospital last week.
