Hairdresser goes extra mile

A MALTBY hairdresser has been rewarded for her fundraising efforts.
Jill Truman, owner of Altered Images on High Street, has gone the extra mile to help Maltby Town Councillor Keith Stringer raise more than £3,000 for the National Autistic Society.
And last week she was given a certificate from the charity which supports people with autism and their families,
Coun Stringer said he was glad Jill had gained recognition for her kindness, which includes donating raffle prizes.
Coun Lauren Astbury, who also helps to raise funds, said: “It’s through knowing and working with people like Jill that makes our fundraising efforts all the worth while.”
