Gainsborough man charged with attempted murder after stabbing

A 30-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in Gainsborough in the early hours on Sunday.
Darren William Bryant, of Elsham Walk, Gainsborough, has been remanded in custody and will appear before Lincoln magistrates tomorrow (Tuesday 1st January 2013).
He was arrested along with a 15-year-old boy after an incident in Ashcroft Road.
The teen was later released on police bail until 9th March, pending further enquiries.
Emergency services were called to a house at about 12.30am where a man had suffered stab wounds.
He was taken to Lincoln County Hospital where he underwent surgery and remains in a critical but stable condition.
The road was closed until Sunday afternoon while police forensically examined the area.
