A YOUNG man got so drunk he could not remember kicking two cars, Worksop Magistrates’ Court heard last week.

Craig Pattinson, 21, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Worksop on 27th October and damaging two cars.

The court heard that Pattinson, of Yeoman Close, Worksop had been drinking in the afternoon before going to a party with friends.

Defence solicitor Ian Pridham said Pattinson could not remember causing the damage, but accepts that he must have.

He added that he was ‘embarrassed and ashamed’ by his behaviour.

Pattinson was given a 12 month community order, with 80 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay £40 costs and £60 victim surcharge.
