David Hawke Property Services have launched their 2012 Christmas Toy Appeal for the Children of Bassetlaw in conjunction with the Worksop Guardian.

All you have to do is bring in a new toy or gift suitable for newborns and children up to the age of 16 to the office on Bridge Street.

Anyone who donates a new toy of gift will be entered into a raffle to win one of two prize vouchers.

The closing date for donations is Monday 17th December after which the toys will then be collected and distributed to vulnerable children across Bassetlaw.

Appeal spokesman Val Casey urged everyone to help make Christmas special for every child in the district.

“We are asking all the people of Bassetlaw to make sure every child in the district wakes up with a visit from Santa,” she said.

“Just add one more present to your list - these toys and gifts make Christmas special not just for the child but also the parents who are overwhelmed by people’s kindness.”
