Donating blood can save lives

Donating blood can save lives

THE National Blood and Transplant Service needs more blood donors in Dinnington.

There are regular donor sessions in the town, and potential donors are being encouraged to find out more about it.

The next sessions are today (Friday 8th February) and Friday 8th March at the Dinnington Resource Centre on Laughton Road from 11.45am to 2.30pm and 4pm to 7.15pm.

Holly Mason, lead donor relations manager with NHS Blood and Transplant, said: “We are grateful to all our donors in the Dinnington area, every donation could potentially save three lives.”

“We urge existing donors to book their next appointment and we need new donors to come forward, especially young people.”

“We still have around a week of our national campaign to go.”

“Help us recruit 100,000 new donors in 100 days and sign up today.”

Call 0300 123 23 23 or visit www.blood.co.uk to make an appointment or to find out more.
