Appeal for witnesses after biker dies on A60
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 50-year-old man died after he came off his motorbike near Tickhill at 5.30pm on Saturday.
The man was riding his red and white Ducati along the A60 Worksop Road from Oldcoates towards Tickhill, when on a right hand bend he left the road, was thrown from his bike and came to rest in a field.
The man, from Brecks, Rotherham, suffered multiple injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 50-year-old was wearing dark coloured leathers and may have been riding alone or with another bike at around 12 to 12.30pm on Saturday.
