Fire in disused railway tunnel in Clowne

Firefighters from Clowne were called to a fire in a disused railway tunnel this morning (Saturday, October 20).

The crews attended the incident in Station Road, Clowne, at around 6am.

The fire involved a quantity of rubbish alight.

The crew used one hose reel jet to extinguish.

Derbyshire Police were also informed of this incident
