He has attended every junior coaching and practice session for over 100 children.

Mr Pearson encouraged the kids to obey the rules of fair play, and has a very encouraging style ensuring no bullying takes place and promoting the sporting ethos of
the game.

Junior Team of the Year - Aston Comprehensive U16 Girls Rounder’s Team

Senior Team of the Year - Treeton Cricket Club 1st XI

Junior Coach of the Year - Vicky Harmon, St Mary Community Gym Club

Senior Coach of the Year - Eric Walker, Wombwell and Dearne Boxing Club

Runner Up: David Slack, Anston Cricket Club

Young Volunteer of the Year - Charlie Redfearn, Rotherham Phoenix Cricket Club

Runner Up: Leah Webster, Thomas Rotherham College

Club of the Year - Rotherham Harriers & Athletics Club, Steve Gaines

Runner Up: South Yorkshire Swans, Alison Barber

Fair Play - Gregg Pearson, Anston Cricket Club

Runner Up: David and Barbara Allen, Rotherham Harriers and Athletics Club

Rising to the Challenge - Young People from all across Rotherham who attended the Carnegie Weight Management camps.
