FIREFIGHTERS from Maltby were called to an accident opposite Morrisons in Bramley on Sunday.

A total of five fire engines attended Bawtry Road shortly after 6pm following reports of a vehicle driving down an embankment.

The driver, said to be aged in his mid-20s, suffered a severe disclocated elbow and had to be cut free before being taken to Rotherham Hospital.

He was the only person in the car, and no other vehicle was involved.

Today's Vote

What do you think to the plan for a windfarm at Penny Hill, near Ulley?
I'm strongly opposed. It's the wrong location and wind power is unreliable.
It's a grand idea. The more of these, the merrier!
I'll wait until I see the detailed plans to decide.
