DAVID Blunkett MP is one of many taking part in a charity 'Jailbreak' to raise money for Guardian adopted charity Lost Chord.

The cause, which provides musical sessions to help stimulate responses from people with dementia, is holding the event to help fund further concerts.

Taking place in September, participants are being invited to be 'arrested' on the day, taken to Sheffield Crown Court where Judge Murphy has agreed to pass sentence on each and commit them to the jail.

Each person will be allowed to take their mobile phone in an attempt to raise the bail of at least £1,000 each. However, most of the funds can be raised before the day.

For more information, contact Helena Muller on 01909 563335.
