A MAN was this afternoon convicted of murdering his wife's GP lover - and jailed for life.
Jurors found Andrew Hill, of Walseker Lane, Rotherham, guilty by unanimous verdict at Sheffield Crown Court. He has been sentenced to a minimum of 17 years behind bars.

Mr Justice Wilkie said the 49-year-old telecomms engineer had acted in a "deliberate and calculated way" when he bludgeoned Dr Colin Shawcross, 58, at his rented home in Ashley Grove, Aston, near Sheffield, a year ago.
