Tribute bands to raise charity cash at Dinnington Lyric gig

A DOUBLE dose of tribute pop is coming to Dinnington's Lyric Theatre for a charity concert this month in the shape of Take That 2 and Ultimate Girls Aloud.

Take That 2 have been described as one of the best Take That tribute bands in the UK today and were even asked to perform with the real foursome at the O2 Arena.

Not only are all four members from the same area as the boys themselves, but ‘Gary’ from the act has a voice so close to Gary Barlow and can also play live piano and guitar.

Team that with three other highly talented professional vocalists and the night promises to be a tribute show that they promise will ‘relight your fire’.

They will be joined by Ultimate Girls Aloud – starring five girls who are all trained dancers and models, and who claim to “combine stunning costumes and dance routines to be the best tribute act for the one of the UK’s most successful girlbands”.

Both acts will be supported by popular duo Diamonte and the Spotlight Dancers from Gillian Banks Theatre School.

Tickets for the 7.30pm show on Saturday 12th September are priced 19.95 and include pie and peas – all proceeds from the event will go towards Rotherham Hospice.
