The reserve is the largest inland wetland in the UK outside of London, and its habitats include wildlife from kingfishers to water rails.

Visitors can explore the whole site and take part in a series of family activities.

The interactive nature sessions take place daily from 2-3pm and feature a whole host of interactive activities designed to educate and entertain the whole family.

Potteric Carr is easy to find and is located half a mile from Junction three of the M18, just south of Doncaster.

The reserve has facilities on site, a car park, suitable terrain for both pushchairs and disabled access, and throughout the day there will be an array of tasty treats available to buy from our Low Ellers Café.

Daily admission is priced at £3 for adults, £1.50 for children, £2.50 concessions for OAPs and students and £6.50 for a family ticket.

The reserve also offers an annual family ticket for £25 or £12.50 for a single.
