WIN a night of giggles and guffaws, courtesy of the Guardian and Sheffield City Hall.
The Last Laugh Comedy Club plays host to a range of UK comedy talent each week in the intimate surroundings of its Memorial Hall.

Numerous tables encircle the stage as a whole host of comedians step into the limelight to share their tales and jokes with the crowd.

Toby Foster, of BBC Radio Sheffield’s breakfast show is compere every Friday and Saturday night and joins three comedians to create an evening of entertainment.

The Guardian has a group ticket (four adults) to give away for Saturday 30th August.

The weekend’s highlights will be comedians Ian Moore, Roger Monkhouse and Matt Blaize.

At home in venues big or small, Ian Moore has worked with the likes of Lee Evans, Mark Lamarr and Jack Dee as well as headlining the Leeds, Reading and Montreal festivals where he was supported by Jimmy Carr.

Roger Monkhouse is described as one of the most intellectual comics in the business, and an expert of wry observation and witty one-liners.

Matt Blaize originally trained as an actor at the Drama Centre in London before turning to stand-up. He won the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year competition in 2001 and the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year title the following year. And he’s been busy, performing around 200 gigs in the two years he has been a stand-up comedian.

With food, drink and laughs aplenty, plus the chance to dance into the early hours at the after-show party, organisers promise a truly memorable night.
