YOU can revisit the 1980s with our fantastic competition to win tickets to see The Wedding Singer in Sheffield on Friday 20th June.
The Guide has teamed up with Sheffield Lyceum Theatre and 80s theme bar Reflex to offer one lucky winner a pair of tickets to see the show, based on the hit 1998 movie, plus £20 of drinks to spend at the bar afterwards.

Take the chance to see the show prior to its London West End debut, featuring television stars Jonathan Wilkes and Natalie Casey.

Based on the hit 1998 movie starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, The Wedding Singer is the ultimate feel-good night out which boasts a fantastic score that will transport you back to the 80s.

With a fantastic cast and live band, the production team guarantee to have you dancing in the aisles.

Jonathan Wilkes is no stranger to the Lyceum, having enjoyed success with roles in Guys and Dolls and the Rocky Horror Show. He has also toured with Robbie Williams on his 2006 Close Encounters World Tour, and his TV credits include ITV’s You’ve Been Framed and Sky One’s The Match.

Natalie Casey is famously known for her role as Donna in the hit BBC sitcom Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps and was one of the original cast members of Channel 4’s Hollyoaks in her role as Carol Groves.

Her other theatre credits include She’s In Your Hands and Hobson’s Choice, and she has recently wowed audiences in the West End starring as Serena in Fame.

The show, directed and choreographed by Karen Bruce, premiered on Broadway and opened to hit reviews from critics, praising its sense of humour, knockout comic timing and slick line-up.

The New York Post said, it’s the funniest 80s wedding in town and you’re invited,’ while People Magazine claimed that ‘audiences haven’t had this much fun since Mamma Mia’.

Tickets for the show, which runs from Monday 16th to Saturday 21st June, with a range of matinee and evening performances, are priced £16.50-£30.50 – concessions are available.
