WEEK four sees the Guardian's Kerry Dodd in a positive mood, one month into her new healthy lifestyle.
"I have had a fantastic approach this week and it paid off with a 2lb weight loss," said Kerry. "So in total that's over half a stone up to now!"

"People are starting to notice I'm losing weight and that just makes me feel fantastic. Work colleagues are being so supportive and I can hardly believe I have avoided the vending machines for four weeks now, opting for fruit at my desk instead."

"I am starting to feel the benefits of my diet change. I no longer feel as sluggish and seem to have more energy."

"And this alone is motivation enough to keep going."

Kerry added: "Everyone brought syn-free food to slimming class this week to raise money for Kath's charity the NSPCC. We all enjoyed the buffet whilst Kath talked us through the different elements of the Slimming world eating plan."

"I'm hoping to lose another 2lb next week, wish me luck!"
