More police on the streets . . .

I was looking in the Worksop Guardian this week where I read the piece about people paying more tax to see more policemen.

I am not a working man myself at the moment but I think instead of the council or Government or whatever asking the public to pay more tax I think everyone should pay a few pounds more to see more police on the streets. I also believe people on the benefit system should also pay a couple of pounds.

Already the streets are short of police officers because they’re always busy with paper work. More people these days are committing crimes and also children. The police need to show the criminals who is in charge and they can’t do that at the moment because of the shortage .of cops on the streets.

It would be great to see more police on the front line doing what they are paid to do, this will mean less crime and more public confidence also it will mean more jobs!
