Bus station before cinema
Worksop bus station (or lack of) is a complete disgrace.
Myself and every other user is fed up of freezing to death and getting wet every time we use it!
The shelters leak, there are no seats and I, along with a lot of others who are partially disabled or elderly, struggle to stand for any length of time in the cold or wet weather!
The bus station has been the same mess for years now and while everyone around us is getting lovely warm modern bus stations we are stuck with something from the dark ages.
We would rather our council taxes are used to get us a proper bus station instead of a new cinema or new windows at the council offices when there was nothing wrong with the old ones. It’s okay for the councillors and people who make the decisions about what gets built but I’m sure if they had to spend a week catching buses to and from work or to do their shopping they would change their minds and agree with the rest of us humble people who do not have the luxury of a car!
